Student Coalition on Race and Equity
(SCORE)

mash.png

SCORE is where teens step up and lead real conversations about race and equity. Once a week after school, students from across Syracuse dive into tough topics like redlining, bias, and justice things they often don’t get to talk about in class. Then, they take what they’ve learned and teach it to others from peers to teachers to community groups. It’s not just a club, it’s a movement. Teens get paid for their time, build confidence as public speakers, and walk away knowing they have the power to change how their community thinks and acts

SCORE gives teens a platform to explore, discuss, and take action on issues of race and equity. Beyond classroom-style work, SCORE members organize and lead conversations in the wider community — building leadership skills while helping to foster understanding and dialogue across generations
